Who’s got a picture of the BBWAA scorebook?

You know that we love to dissect the various scorebooks on the market. We’ve covered all sorts of excellent options this season — the Eephus League, the Derrick Goold homemade, the Michael Schwartz. And we’re always ready with a shameless plug for our favorite.

Ken Rosenthal, the indefatigable, bowtied dugout-roamer for Fox Sports and MLB Network, fielded a question on Twitter on Tuesday about which scorebook he uses. He answered:

@SoxBrian26 it’s a BBWAA scorebook.

Bob Ryan of The Boston Globe talked about it in a 2005 column, excerpted here (and the full version here, subscribers only): “Going to a baseball game — any baseball game — without keeping score is incomprehensible to me. I’m always ready. When baseball season comes, I do not leave town without my cherished BBWAA scorebook.” Barry M. Bloom of MLB.com mentioned it earlier this season, too.

But a quick check online reveals no pictures of the BBWAA scorebook. So we’re putting out the call for photos. If you’ve got one, snap a pic and share with the class. And if you’re feeling expansive, tell us what you like or dislike about it.

Speaking of plugs (much more worthwhile ones), here’s a look at the bowtie Rosenthal wore Tuesday night for Game 3 of the ALCS. We like a bowtie with a cause!
